Late Warsaw surge sinks NorthWood

The Warsaw Tigers tallied three second-half goals on the way to a 5-2 Northern Lakes Conference victory over NorthWood Thursday night at Warsaw.
Kaitlyn Heckaman scored in the 22nd minute and Val Ostrowski in the 36th for NorthWood. Hannah Cutshall netted two goals for the winners.
Warsaw had advantages of 11-9 in shots on goal and 3-2 in corner kicks.
Danae Ehret made six keeper saves for NorthWood and Dee Monroy seven for Warsaw.
NorthWood (3-1-1, 0-1-1 in the NLC)visits Northridge next Thursday.
Warsaw was a 2-0 JV winner.
