NorthWood captures invitational honors

NorthWood edged South Bend Trinity, 2-1, in the championship game of the NorthWood Invitational.

Kelcie Lehman scored in the 37th minute assisted by Julie Santos and Taylor Stutzman in the 72nd minute assisted by Kristyn Burt for the winners. Julie DeLee scored in the 72nd minute for Trinity.

NorthWood has advantages of 14-7 shots on goal and 5-2 in corner kicks. Danae Ehret made six keeper saves for NorthWood and Mary Feeks 12 for Trinity.
