Burt, Lehman star as Panthers breeze

Junior Kristyn Burt netted three goals and senior Kelcie Lehman two as the Northwood Panthers blanked Mishawaka, 7-0, in Nappanee.
Burt scored in the 6th minute assisted by Lehman, in the 8th and 9th unassisted. Lehman scored in the 2nd minute unassisted and in the 17th assisted by sophomores Cassie Dyksen and Hillary Lechlitner.
Dyksen scored in the 29th minute assisted by freshman Taylor Stutzman and senior Chelsea Stutzman completed the NorthWood scoring in the 48th assisted by Lechlitner.
The winners led 21-1 in shots on goal and 9-0 in corner kicks. Sophomore Danae Ehret and freshman Hayley Maggard combined on the shutout.
